WNO and Scotland Billboard

This poster was created to celebrate Washington National Opera’s 50 years of outstanding productions. With playful typography, color, and scale, this poster pays homage to the striking visual presence of the performers and sets. The WNO has achieved world-class stature and plays to standing-room-only audiences at the Kennedy Center Opera House.

I had a memorable trip to Scotland where I walked the dynamic streets of Edinburgh and ventured north to the rugged Highlands. The beauty of this ancient land and the charming people make it one of those destinations that I must revisit. The memories of that vacation inspired me to create this advertising billboard.
